Misun Kang, DMD received her doctorate from Oregon Health Sciences University in 1996. Interestingly, she had previously graduated from the University with a bachelors of science in nursing, making her one of the few dentists in Oregon to have received multiple degrees from the prestigious Oregon University.
She enjoys staying current in the ever changing field of dentistry and dedicates a substantial number of hours each year to continuing education. She is active in several advanced dental study clubs, as well as organizations such as the American Dental Association, Oregon Dental Association, and Lane County Dental Society.
She is a native of Korea and has lived in the United States for more than 20 years. She moved to Eugene-Springfield in 1996, and she enjoys the diversity of our climate and culture.
Doyle Van Buren, DMD started his journey in Seattle, Washington. Shortly thereafter he made his first move of many around our nation, with his family, while his father advanced an engineering career. Upon high school graduation, Dr. Van Buren did a 4 year tour with the US Navy. An undergraduate degree from UNM led to OHSU School of Dentistry.
Time waits for no man, and now he has been practicing dentistry in the Springfield area for just short of twenty years. Dr. Van Buren enjoys many mechanical pursuits and particularly helping his patients meet their dental challenges with the latest advancements in dentistry.
